In the words of the artist:

My work deals with the visual representation of the unseen and intangible qualities of life - emotion, spirituality, the concept of growth and change, the forces in and around us - all the things that go beyond the surface reality and that constitute our aliveness.

My current work "Polagrams" (Polaroid drawings) is a return to the simplest type of photograph, the photogram. Like the photogram, the work is created using only light and a light-sensitive emulsion. No camera is involved. Although the materials are more modern, Polaroid instant film and a computer for enlargement, the work maintains a place in the photographic tradition; while expanding its borders to incorporate new technologies.

Using this process, I am able to express my view of the quiet mystery of our own existence and the beauty in this mystery.
