An original artwork by Marica Cecilia Kassem. The loose brushwork and distorted perspectives in Kassem´s townscapes and folkloric scenes reveal her interest in the work of the expressionists, an influence which she develops to the point of abstraction in her compositions based on pre-Colombian motifs, where colour is put into play against form and space.
