Naum Gabo
(Bryansk, 1891- Waterbury, 1977)

Russian-born American sculptor, widely recognized as a leading figure in the Constructivism movement.

One of the earliest artists to explore, Kinetic sculpture (art that incorporates movement), his works include the Torsion Fountain, in London. The Tate Gallery, London also has an extensive collection of the art pioneer.
