André Kertész

Hungarian photographer, most well known for his images of everyday life and playful nudes.

After working in Paris for the VU magazine and credited for documentary projects like ‘ Paris vu par André Kertész, he moved to New York, where he worked for magazines such as harpers’s Bazaar and Vogue. His work continues to be recognized as a major influence on the birth of photojournalism and art photography. In 1964, Museum of Modern Art ( MOMA ) held an exhibit of his works.
