Founded in 1992 and located in the heart of Madrid, the Reina Sofia Museum permanent collection includes works by the leading Modern-day masters and some of the most important living artists, like Jose Solana (The Gathering at the Café, The procession of Death), Sonia Delaunay (Dubonnet, Juan Gris (Potrait of Josette, Guitar in front of the Sea), Pablo Gargallo (Mask of Greta Garbo with a Lock of Hair), Pablo Picasso (Woman in Blue, Woman in a garden, Guernica, Joan Miro (man with a Pipe, Juan Gonzalez (Head Called the Rabbit), Alexander Calder (Constellation) , Jean Arp, Salvador Dali (The Great Masturbator), Man Ray (Potrait of Joella), Oscar Domingeuz (Guanche Cave), and Maruja Mallo (The Festival).
