Original London Eye EXPO 2000 Poster Stunning poster from the year 2000, promoting the great surrealist's "UNIVERSE" expo at County Hall London, where it ran for 10 years. I bought the item from the UK a couple of years after the launch, as I was just so taken by the classic Dali pose & the sheer size/power of the piece, with dimensions of: 760 mms x 1010 mms... I was informed by the vendor that it was one of only 200 produced of this particular poster, which were destined to publicise the event locally, but (luckily for me) this one never quite made it to the billboard! Having searched high and low, via my art broker contacts, and extensive internet searches, I cannot find another of the same version, so it is most certainly a very, very rare piece of Dali memorabilia... Alas, it has never been hung, framed or on show, since I moved to Malaga, so now it is time to say goodbye and hope it finds a good home... (*dimensions accurate within 0-5mms)
