Detailed Description

The character of the sand-cast, barrel-polished office clock is patently obvious: simple and sturdy. The clock brings back memories of a lost industrial past. This electric clock, designed to a time-honored pattern, is easily capable of outliving us all. The clock has numbers that have been designed specifically for this application, and has the dimension (diameter 67cm) and also the positioning of the large and small numerals. The four different, cast quadrants meet at the quarter hours. The subdivision into quadrants results from the limited size of the template. A grooved connection rod connects the clock housing to the clock face. Because of this, the fabric electrical flex runs beyond the clock face. The flex, as a component of the design, is fixed to the wall with specially cast aluminium flex brackets.
