Khin Maung Zaw Biography
Myeik, Burma, 1970 -
EMERGING Burmese artist, Khin Maung Zaw's art reflects his knowledge of FIGURATIVE techniques and BUDDHIST life in his home country.
Trained under several masters, including U LUN GYWE, and at the State School of Fine Arts, he is a full time artist who sometimes paints with oil or pastel, though his watercolours with its bright, vibrant colours truly capture the beauty of Burmese religious life.
He has regular shows in Rangoon and has also exhibited in Singapore (1995, 1997, 1998, 1999).
