Joaquin Resano Biography
Joaquin Resano was born in 1948.
Since his exhibiting with Pedro Salaberri, Luis Garrido and Alicia Oses in the Museo de Navarra, Joaquin Resano has developed an outstanding biography in the art worlds of Navarra.
In the 70s he formed part of the Pamplona Art School, and important Spanish artistic movement of the time, typified by a direct style with images taken from the language of comic books, using their plots as part of the iconography of the picture. This was a social art, in response to the hard times of the dictatorship. His pieces are often painted in dull colours giving his work a timeless feel.
