Enrique López Suárez "Elosu" Biography
Oviedo, Spain, 1938
Established Asturian artist Enrique Lopez Suarez, works in an impressionistic style, emphasising the great capacity of the landscape and figure.
Juan Antonio Uriarte (President of the Basque Watercolorists Group) speaks about Suarez saying, "the watercolor paintings of Enrique Lopez Suarez are harmonious and very balanced, not only as far as the dominant composition and drawing, but also the so wonderful use of his palette". Suarez is a self- taught artist.
