Stunning offset lithograph by The National Gallery after Claude Monet's famous snow scene of 1881. Lavacourt is a hamlet on the Seine opposite the village of Vétheuil, where the artist lived at the time. Dimensions of the piece are: Support 310 mms x 400 mms, Plate 235 mms x 319 mms. Title and artist are displayed in lower border, together with the National Gallery mark with year of printing. The print is signed 'in the plate' by Monet with year (lower RH corner), and the item is in exemplary condition, just waiting to be mounted, framed then proudly displayed...
