Established architectural duo Camila Aybar & Juan Jose Mateos explore architecture through ephemeral constructive performances to projects of great endeavour.
Aybar received training at the Superior Technical School of Architecture of Madrid, ETSAM, and received a Masters in Science in Advance Architectural Design from the University of Columbia in New York in 2005. Mateos received training at the Superior Technical School of Architecture of Madrid, ETSAM, and at the Bartlett School of Architecture, at the University College of London. Together, they have appeared in several publications including the Architectural Record, Mesh Magazine, Revista Pasajes, and GSAPP Abstract. They are currently based in Spain, working as aybar.mateos.arquitectos.
