The Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, in Iowa, has eight different galleries dedicated to its selections of works from the permanent collection. The Museum owns over 5,000 works of art, in its PERMANENT collection, including the world's largest collections of works by Grant Wood, Marvin D. Cone, and Mauricio Lasansky.

The museum also has a collection of paintings from the early twentieth century, along with a large collection of sculpture by Malvina Hoffman.

Other HIGHLIGHTS of its collection are: Regionalist art from the 1930s and 1940s, twentieth century American prints, work in all media by Iowa artists, and contemporary Midwestern painting and photography.
