Piotr Woroniec Biography

Giżycko, Poland, 1955-

Establish Polish contemporary sculptor, Piotr Woroniec primarily creates wood- based sculptures. His FIGURE-based creations, often use other materials, like metal, fibres, leather and stone, to depict varying human nature and stories.

Between 1992 and 1999, Woroniec was also employed as the sceneographer at the "Teatr Kreatur" in Berlin and is a member of the Polish Union of Artists (ZPAP).

He has received the following AWARDS: - 1986 - 1995 : Prize, Open Art Competition, Krosno, Poland - 1996: City of Brzozow Prize - 2000: City of Rzeszow Prize
