A legendary artist, Miro acutely created most of his graphic works during the 1950s. These limited-edition authenticated works, like his paintings, are both abstract and surrealist. Their subject matter draws on the realm of memory and imaginative fantasy; dreamlike visions, typically whimsical or humorous. His art often depicts playfully distorted animal forms, twisted organic shapes, and odd geometric constructions, placing it among the most original of the 20th century.
