From 1987 until 2006 he was a general professor of the Studio of Free Aesthetic Pedagogical Orientation, or IENBA, (Institute of the National School of Fine Arts) and since 1999 he has been chosen by the members of IENBA to take the position of director of the Institute, which he still occupies today. The artist is interested especially in the handmade aspect of ceramics and the involvement of serious images. He utilizes his drawing, colors, light and material like tools so that the creation and his style can change under personal circumstances from a figurative, abstract style, to developing his work in an aesthetic closer to expressionism or symbolism.
