Hilary Dunne Biography

London (England), 1963

Established British artist Hilary Dunne's paintings are heavily influenced by the cultures of Africa, Central America and the Caribbean. Her works capture the exoticism and the vibrant colors of these lands, creating intriguing, sensual and atmospheric pieces. Her use of gold and other metallic leafs contribute to the feeling of extravagance which is at the core of her work.

Largely self taught, she holds a degree in Law and worked as a lawyer before dedicating herself to painting.
