One of Thailand's leading ABSTRACT artists, Thaiwijit Puangkasemsomboon creates works in a variety of media, and often works with abstractions that seem to stimulate the viewer's emotions.

Thaiwijit perceives himself as an ordinary person and his paintings can be viewed as a reflection of an ordinary human's life. He prefers to live without excesses, in a Buddhist inspired way of following the middle path.

He has participated in numerous exhibitions in Thailand and also in Germany (1986, 1994), Canada (1990), USA (1991), and Hong Kong (2001).
