Chris Slutter Biography

Chris Slutter was born in 1972 in Terborg, The Netherlands. He graduated from AKI in Enschede in 1997 with a BA in architectural/industrial design.

When designing he thinks about the how the process of design effects the final product and about how to best create simplified forms of design.

After spending three years in Enschede he opened his own design studio in Amsterdam where he works on mostly small series of designs. His clients include the multinational and architectural environment as well as the private sector. He has designed and made lamps, tables, mirrors, chairs, tubular furniture and sideboards.

His designs are currently being shown in exhibitions such as Inside Design, Via Milano, and V.O.C.
