Clive Madgwick Biography
London, 1934-
Established English artist Clive Madgwick educated at Epsom College and graduated at London University. Clive began painting in 1972 and has progressed from landscapes to genre, figure and sporting scenes. Living and working in rural Suffolk and surrounded by beautiful countryside has led to focusing upon landscape painting, but also a love of France and Italy has enlarged his liking for atmospheric topographical work. He has been said to be ?A reincarnation of a Victorian representational painter?
