Eva Gonzalo Biography

Zaragoza, Spain, 1971 -

The principal motifs in young Spanish painter Eva Gonzalo's work are flowers. Gonzalo puts flowers against backdrops portraying atmospheric landscapes, creating a delicate balance of light and color, between large spaces and intimate detail.

Gonzalo began her artistic training at the studio of Amadeo Roca in Madrid and graduated for Complutense University in the same city, where she specialised in restauration. Gonzalo developed her interest in printmaking and engraving and decorative arts through numerous courses and seminars.
