Alfredo De Stéfano Biography
Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico, 1961-
Established Mexican photographer Alfredo De Stefano photographs unpopulated desert landscapes, in which dramatic lighting and mysterious objects--burning bushes, a collection of ladders standing alone, iridescent pools--are the protagonists.
De Stefano received a degree in communication science from the Universidad Autonoma de Coahuila, Mexico. Since 1982, he has participated in more than 80 solo and group exhibitions in Mexico as well as in the United States, South America, Europe and Asia.
