Originally a trained electrician, Robert Schlegel began merging his expert knowledge with furniture design in Berlin.
Striving to combine light in all shapes or sizes with the architectonic, almost sculptural shape of contemporary furniture, he has created multifunctional and beautiful design objects under the label Monode(sign). Minimalist, organic shapes and ever-changing light ensure Monode(sign)?s objects always embody sleek, yet funky sophistication.
