raul eberhard Biography

Raul Eberhard was borne at Valparaiso on June, 1955.

He studied the Art History at Catholic University of Valparaiso.

From 1986 he dedicates himself exclusively to the painting and he exposes at Buenos Aires, Punta del Este, Santiago del Chile and later on he moves to Madrid at 1989.

He participated at ARCO, Art Fair of Miami and Art Fair of Chicago in numerous occasions. He exposed at Dusseldorf, Bonn and Oslo. In Spain he exposed at Madrid, Santiago de Compostela, Zaragoza, Sevilla and Tenerife, where he actually lives from 1993.

At 2000 he elaborated the book of art “Acerca de lo Común”, which is presented at Museum of Modern Art Reina Sofia and later on the book participates at Expolibri at National Library of Spain at Madrid.

At 2004 he creates the sculpture “Los Papeles de Neruda” for the city of Vancouver, Canada and he exposes again at Oslo.

From 1996 he starts with his work on design.

His art is part of collections at Museum of Fine Arts , Santiago de Chile, Museum of Modern Art of University of Chile, Museum of Fine Arts at Montevideo, Uruguay, Museum of Fine Arts of Tenerife, Museum of Modern Art, Caracas Venezuela
