Raúl Apausa Biography

An established Spanish artist, Raul Apausa works in an abstract style. His sculptures are a dialogue between materials--stone, wood, and iron--that have a uniquely lyrical texture and rhythm. Their penetration into space and uncertain equilibrium bring to mind the work of Chillida.

Apausa has shown his work at exhibitions and art fairs throughout Spain.
