This “Troup of Actors” is perhaps the most pleasing of the group.The Old Lady on the extreme right reminds us of a similar figure “La Celestine” we have often seen in Picasso’s works. The Top hatted figure speaking to the monk reminds us perhaps of Jean Cocteau who, in his youth, was something of a Dandy.
