Nadejda Pronina Biography

Kiev, Ukraine, 1956

Ukrainian painter widely known in her country for her work that approaches a surrealist style. Her paintings show figures over neutral backgrounds, characters that interact in silence, like mimes or marionettes in a world without tangible spaces.

She studied at the School of Fine Arts in Moldova and at Stroganov Art University in Moscow.
