Moshe Paz Biography

Vilnus, Lituania, 1955

Moshe Paz is an Israeli painter born in Lithuania that began painting at a very early age. He studied at the Academy of Art in Vilnius. Later he attended the School of Photography and Fine Arts in Nes Ziona as well as the Betzalel Academy of Fine Arts in Jerusalem.

His work has been included in several exhibitions in France and Israel and his work has been shown in public and private collections around Israel, Europe and the United States.

Moshe Paz is interested in various artistic techniques including oil, acrylic, airbrushing, pastels, etc. In each, one will find a new form of expression. Recently he has developed an impressionistic style with his work with lyrical landscapes and portraits. His work highlights the simplicity and freedom of composition and color. Using nature as an inspiration, he paints landscapes with freshness and beauty.
