Manuel Aramendía Biography

Tudela, Spain, 1955

An established Spanish artist, Manuel Aramendia works as both a sculptor and painter. His work is rich in symbolism, forming minature worlds that have their own order, norms, and inhabitants. A world populated by boats, books, tree trunks, and ash trays.

Aramendia currently works as professor at the Facultad de Bellas Artes at the University of Barcelona, and shows his work throughout Spain.
