Josep Maria Cabayol Biography
Catalan painter, specializing in landscape art, with a strong Mediterranean flavor.
Born in Vilanova i la Geltru, Barcelona, Cabayol trained under Salvador Masana, himself a disciple of Joaquim Mir, at the School of Art in Mallorca, Spain.
His first public exhibition was held in 1966. Since then, the artist 70 solo- exhibitions and over 150 collective exhibitions.
Cabayol is also the founding member of Cercle Artistic de Vilanova (1967).
He has won several awards and his works can also be found at numerous private collections.
