Isabelle Dupuy Biography

Provence, France -

An emerging French artist, Isabelle Dupuy works in an impressionist style. She was born in Southern France and studied at Les Beaux Arts School in Valence.

She developed her style from studying the work of her favorite artists: Monet and Renoir. Her paintings are often inspired by locations near her home; the French countryside. She enjoys capturing on canvas the vivid colors and light of the Mediterranean.

An ambitious oil painter, she will never limit her subject matter, her techniques, or her style. She brings new energy to her work by isolating the most important colors, developing a more textured way of painting for maximum effect.

Dupuy currently lives and works in Texas.

She says of her work: My goal is to beautify the lives of others through my work. Painting with vibrant and warm colors is what gives my art an uplifting feeling of joy and peace. My inspiration comes from home, the Provence, whom I miss the colors, the scents, the lights, the warmth. Each painting I create is a reflection of where I long to be. This world has beautiful places and there is nothing more I want than bringing it to light for the enjoyment of others. In essence, my work should brighten your spirit by bringing warmth and beauty of the reds, yellows, blues and greens of the nature around us.
