Helene Guetary Biography

Paris, 1957 -

Established French illustrator Guetary's powerful drawings and lithographs capture the energy and dynmism of the human form in movement.

Guetary studied painting with the Spanish artist Joaquim Ramo and at the prestigious Ecole des Beax Arts in Paris. She later studied sculpture at the Chicago Art Institue and lithography at the School of Visual Arts in New York.

Guetary has worked as an illustrator for magazines and complies including Viva, Elle, Playboy, Depeche Modes, Jacine, GAP, Over 21, Essence, Adix, Interview Magazine and Zoom Magazine.
