An established Algerian artist, Enrique Barcelona works in a figurative style within the western realist tradition that is rich in detail and nuance.

He studied at the school of ?Artes y Oficios? in Madrid, Spain, and was a student at the ?Real Academia de San Fernando? also in Madrid.

He lived in Rome from 1959 to 1980 where he worked as a professor at the "Academia S. Giacomo," and travelled throughout Italy, showing his work in all of the most important cities. After 1980 he lived and showed in Alicante and Madrid before moving to Barcelona for seven years.

He has painted portraits of a number of well-known figures, and his work can be found throughout the world.
