Chris Francis Biography
Chris Francis was born in Birmingham, in 1946.
He is unusual as an artist in that he has had a long and varied career in business.
He firmly believes in working from the subject matter, influenced by the Impressionists and later artists such as Van Gogh, Degas and Cezanne.
He produces monochromes or multi-colored under-paintings in acrylics and then works over the images in wax crayon or oil pastels.
He currently runs workshopes in life drawing and painting in London.
