Carlos Baonza Biography
SPANISH ILLUSTRATOR, SCULPTOR and PRINTMAKER who explores the possibilities offered by digital art in the creation of expressive, CARTOON-like monsters and creatures.
Baonza studied education and psychology and learned printmaking in the studio of Dimitri Papapgueorguiou. He currently divides his time between teaching and his artistic activities.
The artist's illustrations have appeared in numerous personal and collective PUBLICATIONS.
Baonza held his first EXHIBITION at the University of Comillas, Spain, in 1979.
He is a founding member of the interdisciplinary collective BEZOAR, who have been involved in experimental projects since 2000.
