I was born in Athens,Greece in 1965.After finishing high school,i made higher level studies in Business Administration in the city of Patras in Greece. In 1989,i studied photography in Sir John Cass college of arts. Since i got back from England i work in the family business(selling mechanical parts) but my passion about photography made me decide to follow it professionally which for various reasons was not able to do so before.
Artist's Statement
My photography is usually about ordinary, every day expressions of life that evolves around us usually passing by without paying attention and which I try to bring them out in a new light. It is about uncovering the small peculiarities that are subtly present around us. My photographs are not shouting to the viewer, instead what I am aiming at is for the viewer to feel the atmosphere that surrounds them and which I hope I have achieved in creating. There is a stage like feeling in many of my photographs, the overall scene is very important to me and it is often that the scenery plays a primary role in my frame. I strive towards the creation of images that can stand individually being content in their elements.
