Anne Robin Biography

Native from the Paris region where she still leaves, Anne Robin was born in 1966.

Her attraction to painting and passion for art are rooted in her childhood and a long lineage of enamel artists : One of her ancestors, as far back as in the 15th century, was considered an innovator of the grisaille technique, another one is known for having portrayed the royal family. Their works are still exhibited in museums all over France and the world, among which the Cluny and Louvre museums in Paris.

Anne Robin’s acrylic paintings are inspired by her environment and all emotions she relates to it, above all her love of life; feminine curves, reassuring and yet decided, the coldness of the city and the beauty of nature are her favorite themes. Her creativity and technique are in constant evolution, and she likes to add volume to painting by working different materials. This is Anne’s way of sharing emotions and telling stories.
