Having grown up and lived in London all his life he cannot imagine living outside the hustle and bustle of a big city. He feeds off what goes on around him - the latest sneakers, art, fashion, torn posters, the underground tube system, street signs, current affairs, custom cars, fixed wheel bikes and Disney/Marvel characters. Without all of these things he would find life pretty boring! He studied a Fine Art degree at Central Saint Martins School of Art and his work covers a wide range of disciplines including painting, drawing and printmaking.
His current work draws influence from abstract expressionism, pop art, graffiti art, comic book graphics, cartoons and hot rod cars. He likes to use bright, Carnival-esque colours – the effect being a type of chaotic comic pop art. Along with using canvas, boards and glass, he loves to work outdoors painting murals, vehicles and other large-scale found objects. His preferred medium for his current work is acrylic, aerosol and oil paint. As an artist coming from a graffiti background, He has a need to explore different subject matters and work in different surroundings to challenge himself. He likes to push the boundaries and develop the scope, depth and content of his work. He likes to experiment creatively with new ways of communicating with his viewers by using new and different mediums.
